"Isadora Hal, III"

Is an American politician.He currently represents the 52nd district in the California State Assembly,encompassing parts of central Los Angeles county, including Compton,Paramount,and parts of Long Beach.He also serves as Assistant Speaker pro Tempore of the body.He began his career of public service in 2001 when he was elected to the Compton Unified School Districts Board of Trustees Isadora served two terms as President of the Board and oversaw important reforms to attract highly qualified teachers and increase funding to classrooms throughout the district.He was elected to the Compton City Council in 2003,where he serve in various positions including Mayor Pro Tem.While on the city Council,he oversaw efforts to increase youth access to parks and recreational activities,reduce crime and promote business growth throughout the city.Through his work on the Compton City Council,Isadora also served on the Metropolitan Water District Board,the Gateway Cities  Council of Governments and the Southern California Association of Governments becoming influential regional voice for communties throughout Southern California.He received a Bachelor of Art's Degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix and a Master of Arts Degree in Public from National University He is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity,Inc.Born and raised in Compton California he is the youngest of six children.
